Old stone house located in sleepy village - needs renovation
Situated in the old fisherman's village of Lakmartin,
this semi-detached stone house is more than 200 years old. The ground floor
consists of a kitchen, bathroom and a traditional Croatian cave-like den
(Konoba) with arched entrance and featuring thick stone walls. Internal
stairs lead to the first floor that contains a living room and bedroom.
High ceilings in the loft allow for a potential loft conversion where two
additional bedrooms could be built. The property has two large balconies,
one with stairs leading to the garden. Overall the property measures 154
sq. m. (excluding the spacious balconies), with a small 20 sq. m. courtyard.
Lakmartin is a traditional fishermans village in Krk with its own church
and featuring old stone houses broken up only by a network
of small paths and trails. Peaceful mornings are disturbed
only by the sound of birds singing and flocks of sheep
and goats being herded around the village. Lakmartin
is positioned less than 3 miles from Krk city so all
the tourist facilities and amenities are close by. One
of the largets marinas in the Adriatic, in Punat, is
less than 2 miles away, a popular destination for a variety
of water sports such as water skiing.Wakeboarding is
also popular and Punat features a wakeboard ski-lift.
