Travel Around the World
The classic novel “Around the World in Eighty Days” was written
by Jules Verne in 1873. These days it can take considerably less time to travel
around the world. For instance, in 1995 Air France’s Concorde (remember
that?) completed an around the world flight in just over 31 hours.
Whatever your mode of travel, and as Jules Verne’s character Phileas Fogg found out,
the problem with travelling is usually less to do with the travel itself, and more usually that of
determining the best travel option – a problem I’m sure we’ve all faced from time to time.
Whether it’s a cruise, a flight or a car journey it pays to prepare in advance and
hopefully our list of travel resources may be of use.
