Positive news for Croatia’s entry to the EU

The news wires are reporting that the Czech Foreign Minister, Karel Schwarzenberg, is in favour of Croatia joining the EU in 2009. The Czech Republic will be taking over presidency of the EU in that year and this statement is certainly a positive development for Croatia.

The country is aiming to be the EU’s 28th member state in 2009, following its 1991 proclamation of independence from the former communist Yugoslavia.

The news bodes well for anyone looking to invest in Croatian property. Now, perhaps, would be a good time to investige further :-)
